we are so excited to celebrate this special occasion with you in beautiful Puglia. here are some tips to help you get there:

NEAREST AIRPORTS:

Brindisi (BDS) // 45 min drive

Bari (BRI) // 80 min drive

rental cars are recommended, as Puglia is a rural destination including many beautiful small towns connected by country roads. renting a car will be your easiest way to get around and explore the area. make sure to look into the requirements of your rental car company before booking, as some will require an international driver’s license (we made this mistake and don’t want you to do the same).

A NOTE FROM MARISSA + COLE:

we understand that many people may want to book flights early, but want to make sure that no one is spending more than they need to - so, to do this, we would recommend you:

1) book your flights through Expedia and select the “price drop protection” option, which will automatically refund you the difference between the price you book at and the lowest price between the time of booking and takeoff.

OR

2) search for the flights that you want on Google Flights or Expedia and set a price tracker. this will alert you when prices for that flight drop and will also show you the standard price range for that route to give you an idea of what is a low, typical, or high price.

although it is an extra step, the best way to get a cost-effective route with the least amount of stops is to book a direct flight to a major Italian/European airport (e.g., Rome, Florence, Naples, London) and book a separate flight to either Brindisi and Bari from there, as the best option for each of those flights is likely on a different airline. for our guests traveling in or around Italy before/after the wedding, it is very easy to catch an inexpensive direct flight from any major Italian airport to Brindisi or Bari - or, if you’re up for an adventure, we’d recommend making a road trip out of it instead.
